What are the things that make you, you? I have thought a lot about this and I have a come up with a list that ranges from weird to even weirder. But, one of my very most favorite things that makes me who I am is my need to feel comfort. Don't get me wrong , I love a good snugly blanket, but what I am talking about is comfort in expressing my ideas, comfort in surrounding myself in beauty and comfort in valuable relationships. It gives me cause, it gives me purpose. 

I love being inspired and seeing new things for the first time. I often feel like I have a childs eye when I experience the unknown. I am an explorer and every time a see a beautiful moment I mentally capture that little pause in time.

One of the very first things that got me inspired a few years ago was a trip to New York. As a firefighters wife I was especially choked up and blown away by the 911 Memorial. There was a reverence and a peace that was so calming. It got me thinking how much I wanted all of our emergency medical service workers to really know how much they are appreciated. I wanted each one to be honored. I wanted the the nurses who work hours beyond what they are capable of, to feel the love. I wanted police officers to now we have their back. I wanted firefighter families to come together in the brotherhood it is and feel the strength in its unity. I wanted to make a difference.

The fact that I can creatively make peoples day just by designing something unique for a loved one is thrilling. I never dreamed something so small could make such a difference in my life. And, I thank you for all the love and support along the way!
